Guntur is a city in the Guntur district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is situated in Guntur mandal of Guntur revenue division.The city is a municipal corporation and the administrative headquarters of Guntur district. The city is also one of the suburbs of the state capital Amaravati, under the jurisdiction of APCRDA.
